Показать описание
There is no company in the history of the stock market which is this big and this % of shares shorted. Hope this financial education video will help explain this.
A warping 30% of the TSLA outstanding shares are shorted. You must be wondering, what did this company do to gather so much hate! On a quick note, shorting of shares means people are betting the share price will drop.I’ve been invested in stock market for over 10 years now and followed Tesla since they were listed on the Nasdaq. I believe I have the answer.
If you don’t know what Tesla does, please watch my video on “Why Tesla must succeed” I’ll put the link in the description below.
As of 2019, the making of this video, many industries are facing a treat of disruption, major disruption by the companies involving Tesla. Because of the way these companies profit from a very inefficient system. Let me explain.
Tesla does most of this by cutting out the middle man, giving consumer the best value for their money. I’m going to explain the industries they are disrupting to give you the context why there so much interest out there needing Tesla to fail.
1st
Car Dealerships a 101 Billion industry. These dealers can’t sell the best selling car by revenue in America right now. Do you know how much money are they missing out on?
2nd
Car Part makers a 336 Billion industry. Tradition ICE car constantly need replacements of parts like spark plugs, fuel injectors, filters, transmission modules etc..
In an electric car, there are non of those. Just changing of tires and air filter. Brake pads once every 6 years.
3rd
Oil refiners + Oil Diggers 570B + 120BImagine the inefficient and highly disruptive nature of this industry. You destroy the seas and land, dig out tons of Carbon, process it, ship it and eventually burning it into our atmosphere.
4th
Advertising. A 34 Billion News agencies and media outlets mostly gets their revenue via advertising. Tesla does non of those. These media agencies have a long term relationship with plenty of car manufacturers. What do you think will happen here?
5th
Car manufacturers, the biggest of them all. 1.8 Trillion
That’s the annual revenue of these companies. Tesla is outselling all of them. These companies made so much money selling us cars that constantly needs attention to run and killing us all with dinosaur burning technology.
6th Uilities Co. 1.4 Trillion
Tesla does solar and power walls too. Enabling consumers to be 100% off grid if they choose to do so. These are many more industries like the space industries, taxi companies and aerospace industries I’ve yet to mention in detail.
Coming back to the topic, you know how much money is at stake now? Tesla has about 30% of it’s shares shorted now making it roughly 11 Billion. 11 Billion is penny change for these companies to attempt to destroy Tesla. It’s nothing compared to the worth of all these industries combined. No wonder there is much strong interest to attempt taking down this company.
