Maisky is a delightful and unique personality- and his stories, metaphors and descriptions remind one of Piatigorsky, but at the same time there is an amazing amount of b...s... included with all of it and the clip of him playing Bach at the beginning of this video to this lay person was grotesque. If that was playing for the people, then maybe his 2+2 did = 7. :))

I just love this, but the cello sound mic or postion... Auch!! Is really not good how it's recorded. How is it possible?? It sounds way too harshhhh... it needs room, it needs air... you don't listen to a cello half a meter away
