Sending someone who doesn't even like Worcestershire sauce to tour the factory and taste test it for the short doesn't seem like the best idea but what do I know we barely know how to pronounce the shit.

Worchestershire sauce is the English equivalent of the old Roman garum and Southeast Asian fish sauce. Both garum and fish sauce are mad from anchovies fermented in salt. It give the umami texture and flavor to food. I've liked it since I was a child and used it to spice up white rice and hamburger meat. Lots of Italian grandmothers will throw a handful of anchovies into the onions and garlic to cook when they syart building their sauce. By the time the sauce is done there's no visible trace of the anchovies but there is the lingering backtaste. Things like this are why so many home cooks complain they can't recreate real Italian sauces.
