While I don't think it's cheating, because it's something that pix implemented themselves (probably knowing about the "bug" before they dropped the bot), I do think it's widely known it's broken now. People using it are just taking advantage, same as before with the unknown seraph

The ardent imugi has an intentional crap hit box antop of its 60% hidden durability that even when firing 4 maxed out arden yoerje lasers, it still struggles to get its hit boxes as I've shot plenty of landing ardent imugis and no damage for some reason.

Scavenger Shell, Unknown Seraph, now Cruel Angler…I think 🐷 does it on purpose so people will rush to get it to exploit the “bug” And have that advantage…it’s a hit box issue so it could be a quick and easy fix in a sign on update but they ignore it for weeks. When sales taper off, then they gradually address it.

What makes you think this was a pixonic mistake? All of their special edition robots have bugs like this. Makes them more attractive for purchase. I think it's all done to maximize profits. Just my opinion. Don't take my word on it

It happens most of time i cant damage enemy. In my case I drop only one bots in the entire match. I don't know if bugs or what.

I would say, If i am a normal player and only have the cruel angler i would say it is not. But If you look at legend league all of them use the cruel angler. And they have more than 1 angler in their hangar. So this is cheating. Absolut.
Same with aether.
