Disney World - Magic Kingdom at CHRISTMAS!!

Disney World is magical all year round... but there is even more special magic at Christmas! I have my granddaughter Sophia and we are doing Christmas right at Magic Kingdom!

We leave our Disney resort (Art of Animation) nice and early and get into the park at 8:15 and get a lot done early in the morning!! We have Genie+ and make the most of it to get in as many rides as possible. Also, we watch the schedule to meet lots of characters!

When it is time for Mickey's Very Mery Christmas Party, we change into our special party shirts and go to the front of the park to check-in. Now we get to really enjoy all of the Christmas festivities!!

100% agree on the price and crowds. Was like $1000 for the tickets in the day, $800 for the party and then we had the $850 VIP cost. Prices for Disney are getting out of control

Went to Disneyland Paris in 2000 i think, drove up from Madrid all day and night, arrived at the New York hotel greated by a big black guy with a golden luggage trolly thank god i was knackered, just in time for the room to be vacant, we walked into the park i thought it would be corny, but i found myself crying when i saw the kids faces light up watching the parade, the next day i booked the kids in for a Disney breakfast with characters and later on there was a total eclipse of the sun which made the park silent and calm.

Your closing thoughts are on point— expensive and crowded! Oh and COLD! My 8 year old and I went to the 12/17 party and never got to ride 7 dwarves. I’m skipping the party next year and may just go to MK during the day on a party day.

Nov 18th we rope dropped MK & did Peter Pans flight, then onto Haunted Mansion (walk on), Big Thunder mountain (walk on), Pirates of the Caribbean (walk on). We did all that by 9:30
