Not sure if it was the delay on the call, but that pause had some amazing comedic affect 😂😂

My little brother calls me mommy, the feeling of happiness when with his cute face he calls me mommy it just makes my heart warm, alot of people actually tought of me as his 2nd mom. It just feels nice to those sisters who raised them and get called by nicknames. Now everyone has gotten the habit, they don't address my name infront of him they just call me mommy.

Abu (pronunciation could also be= Ab-bu) is for dad in South Asian countries.
There are different variations they can sound similar.

"Papa“ is what you normally call your father in Germany as well

Him: "(Zak) is calling me Mommy"
Me: well, it's certainly an upgrade from being daddy coz afterall mums are THREE STEPS above dads! SO ITS A BONUS! Hes definitely doing something right to be considered the same as mummy. (STRICTLY SAID IN HUMOUR! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OFFENSE!)

Here, people traditionally called father "Abah".
Papa, Ayah, Bapak are also common.

It’s common in many countries and cultures to call your dad papa - my maternal grandpa is papa in the US. I’m Puerto Rican and grew up calling my dad Papi & his dad Abuelo. My dad never taught us Spanish or even taught us the Puerto Rican culture so I found it kind of ridiculous to call him Papi and would rather call him dad but never felt comfortable calling him dad but now as an adult I just refer to him as my father, Joe since he’s not really in my life anymore.
My husband is Palestinian and the kids call him daddy more than anything but I call my husband everything for the kids to feel comfortable I say “give dad/daddy/baba/yaba a hug” I use all the names interchangeably for them to feel comfortable and call him whatever they like. My husband calls his father yaba.
