Floor has a side project as a pop artist. As a matter of fact at the pinkpop festival in the Netherlands last year she did a full solo set in the morning and a full nightwish set in the evening.

This band is the group from Beste Zangers Dutch TV show....the Marcel Fisser Band (Marcel is the lead guitar player). Floor was so impressed by them on the show she did in 2019 that she took them with her on her solo shows.

I agree to your Suggestion, about Floor doing the grown up Version of not only This but quiet an few Songs, she did load up in Corona Times to Cheer us up. Her Solo Album, very different ins Style is also an sure to Listen one:). As she did the sing my Song Shows for Germany, and met the other Artists after That on some Occasions, there were also great sadly untaped Jams, she is really getting my Heart lighter, when you got the Chance to whitness Her performing:). She can sing anything, and make it her Own. Not better or superior, but her Own, and thats what i adore :)

During this show Floor performs songs from her entire career, spanning After Forever, ReVamp, Northward & Nightwish as well as songs she performed at the Dutch TV Show, Beste Zangers and few coversongs.

This is part of Floor’s solo work (she never seems to stop working). So it is not Nightwish backing her on stage. It is still epic though. Great reaction. Keep up the good work 🇦🇺🤘

Something that you should know about FLOOR JANSEN. She started singing in a symphonic metal band at just 16 years old. After Forever (1995-2009). Then she created a new Progressive Metal band, ReVamp (2009-2016). In 2018 she released a personal Hard Rock project (Northward). In 2012, she was invited by Nightwish to finish their world tour, after the band's second female singer (Annete Olzon) left. In 2013 she became Nightwish's full time lead Vocalist. She is a singing teacher. She sings in Dutch, German, English, Spanish, Finnish, Swedish, Italian and Latin. She sings Heavy Metal, Trash Metal, Pop, Rock, Symphonic Metal, Arya and Opera. She even sang rap. In March 2023 she launched her first Pop solo album "Paragon". THE BEST SINGER TODAY IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

We got this gem on her Youtube channel during lockdown along with a bunch of awesome covers to keep her voice in shape; I love the one in her barn, and this one one sung during one of her solo concerts (she released her solo album last year - check it out!).
Her daughter was singing it all the time so she recorded her cover. She did Frozen 2 as well!

Crazy how much this version has evolved. Her "studio version" at home was already great, but this one is another level.

No chance of seeing Nightwish on tour any time soon, but Floor has a few concerts in the Netherlands that I'm considering - it's only an hour and a half flight away. Although I'm still hoping that she brings her solo shows to the UK in the near future. I just read yesterday that she has very recently moved house, and with that and her new mothering duties it's understandable that she's been a bit quiet lately. But I'm still hoping...

Floor has a solo career outside of Nightwish. Also on her channel you’ll find videos of her previous bands After Forever (1997-2009) and reVamp (2009-2016). Oh, and just FYI, the “J” in Jansen is pronounced like a “Y.” Unfortunately, they have already announced they will not tour for the new album.
