If anyone wants to know, this actually happened. The crew didn’t know what was wrong with the plane until they were told that the landing gear was 90 degrees twisted. They flew in circles for 2-3 hours to wear off extra fuel so it doesn’t blow up when they make the emergency landing. They cut off the TVs before the landing so none of the passengers wouldn't freak out. All 146 people on board got off uninjured. The pilot was really skillful and calm all the way through. The pilot’s name is Scott Burke, and he wants no glory for it.

I’d also like to include that half the landing gear was burnt clean off, I found that really cool.

For those who don’t know, this is a true story: a JetBlue plane landed with a broken nose gear at LAX and the passengers onboard watched their plane crash land as it happened on the news since, of course, JetBlue has live TV.

Fun Fact: The real Jet Blue 292 was an Airbus A320 incapable of dumping fuel so the pilots had to fly the airplane in a holding pattern for TWO HOURS in order to burn off fuel. Imagine sitting on the plane for over two hours watching what was happening on their TV's, that must have been terrifying!
