I swear, i am feeling exactly the same way you are right now. I am privileged enough to be in pharmacy school studying what i love and being in a beautiful state away from home, but the compounding stresses of life have been making me feel so down lately. All we can do is keep pushing forward and things will surely get better! Hat knitting is what ive been gravitating towards… fast to knit up so its quite rewarding. Hi Jimmy, check out ICE Yarn out of Turkey. They offer a huge selection of affordable yarn but be aware of the shipping cost. The trick is to "level" it out. For us in the USA the best approach is to buy bigger amounts of yarn to get the shipping per ball down. Take care and keep knitting.

I would suggest Lanas Gato Negro (Especial 4C kind), Dlana (Rústica) from Madrid, and also Portuguese brand Tricots Brancal (Escocesa mainly, but maybe Puralana or 100percent merino kinds). You can either buy online, or maybe ask a friend who is visiting to buy some for you ;)
