I cringe when most idiots still don't understand Volvo isn't trying to out-German the 5-series or A6 in terms of performance. Times are changing: 320hp & ~295lb.ft is more than adequate for daily duties & passing power is good. Best of all, no 6cyl or V8 will ever remotely approach the MPG levels this 2.0 can produce if you are light on the throttle.

For a comfortable & stylish luxury cruiser, this easily trumps the 535i and E400. A lot cheaper as well; Volvo is generally more generous when it comes to standard features over the Germans. Also the FF layout means it also will have lots of interior space than the FR setup preferred by BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar.

It seems like this is an up hill and curvy road.... T6 does 0-100km in 5.7s as you can see on other videos. If you check some info from Volvo they made and fit this 2.0 engine in by purpose to prove that they can built 4c / 2l with the power of v6. Their engine won an award too. I assume Volvo have done the work right.

The T8 is their new real performance engine. Would be fun to see how that one perform in the S90.. this one wasn't bad but I expected more from the T6.

About 7.1s to 100 and Volvo claims it will do it in 6.1 seconds. Is Volvo mixing with the numbers or did you get a bad start/hill start?

You should have put the car in manual shift mode. That way the rev's go all the way up to the red line before it shifts. Now you have been short-shifting, meaning you didn't get full potential.

There's a video of a v90 d5 polestar doing 0-200 in 27 seconds. 5 seconds faster than this t6. Really weird.

Damn, this is just slow. I dont believe, this is 320 horsepowers. My Mercedes E350 CDI did the 200 kilometers in 28 sec with 265 hp only - and damn, its a diesel.

Now, my Mercedes E 400 with 333 hp does it in 20 sec to 200 km/h. How can I be 11 seconds faster with 13 horsepowers more only?

I tell you, V6 beats these fucking 2.0-cylinders.
