Around the the Reichstag in Berlin | DW English

Every year, around three million people visit the Reichstag in Berlin. Check-in presenter Nicole Frölich joins them for a look at the seat of Germany's parliament. She’s also arranged a photo op with the chancellor.

I love this city. When I visited in 2001, I toured the Reichstag dome. The city was in a building renaissance and those flashy buildings of the Government quarter were still but a dream. Interesting that it’s all built on the old Diplomatic Quarter and on the proposed sites where the ‘Germania’ Volkshalle and Leader’s Palace were slated to go.
Can’t wait to get back there next year to see the city again and the opening of the Humboldt Forum. Looks fantastic.
