Roman Catholic, Protestant Birn Again experience. I started researching the early church fathers. Went to a Orthodox church. I experienced Christ in this fullness at service. Been praying the Jesus Prayer 🙏 It is the perfect prayer to humble yourself before the Lord.

This is what I currently struggle with. Lapse in prayer rule and the struggles do seem pointless when you don't communicate with the Lord and his saints.

Honestly God bless you father, I’ve been battling with lust for so long, God helped me beat gluttony but lust is still something I struggle with and this video has helped me a lot 🙏☦️

I’m having a lot of internal struggle. I keep asking my spiritual father if he’d allow me to say the Jesus prayer. I’m saying the Trisagion once in the morning and once in the evening as my rule. I pray much outside of that with his permission but he doesn’t want me using the prayer rope. I admittedly went so far as to tell him I’m going to do it anyway but after I repented to him and asked for forgiveness for my disobedience. It’s been a really difficult time for me in my life, (heart attack and hypertensive crisis, distanced from parents for harassing my wife, can’t find a job because I can no longer labor notwithstanding) so I’ve needed a lot of spiritual assistance but I’m not sure he’s able to give it. Pray for my relationship with him because I don’t think he really necessarily likes me very much, I’m not sure why and I hope I’m wrong but I got the idea that confronting it would only make it worse. Or at least pray for my heart to be more obedient in the face of something like this. Whatever this is.
