The kymco's detune their engines heavily, I bought a fuel controller and high flow air filter for my mxu 500 .. The bloody thing wouldn't hit 95km, now it goes over 106km per hour. Get the kymco, and the upgrades with it. It's acceleration is greatly improved to the extent that it feels like a different atv.. Cheers

Did you know that kymco produce bike engines for bmw and Kawasaki scooters are just kymco with a different badge. For the price could you go wrong?

OK you have made some good comparisons there but a couple of things stand out straight away.The Honda has an extra light on the handlebars which means you could turn the light on where you are working rather than moving the bike. The winch on the front is a great idea but it adds a lot of weight, a winch on the rear would be pointless as a towing hook on the back is sufficient as they will pull forwards rather than backwards and of course if you needed the winch in the dark the lights are on the front. I think most farmers will be governed by dealer location above brand and price, although there will be quite a few that have been happy with a brand they know and will simply replace like with like. Would have liked to see a bit more on carrying capacity of each though. Great video, oh and i'd still have the Honda.Regards from the "lowlands" of the Peak District!

Yea the kymco looks good but I have heard the cvt transmission can be a pain as the belts where out and can break under heavy load

Honda trx 520 with independent rear suspension is like 150000kr in Norway where kymco mxu 550i is about 95000kr. The price difference between the two brands is massive. And I believe kymco still has more standard equipment. You can have the mxu 550i with a expensive snow blower accessory before it would cost about the same. Price difference in reality will be even bigger in real life because most likely you'll buying this with a down payments. If you bought the Honda your bank would still earn money on you years after the kymco would have been down paid.

kymco has way more power. they no longer carry the 500 model...replaced by 700 with the same body! are you racing or pulling is the question! Save a couple grand and get the Kymco!
