The world needs more of this. I think this is the most calming, meditative thing I've ever found on the internet.
Pale Blue Dot, people - it's all we've got. Our world, each other.

I am watching this on an OLED 4k screen just to test the display but I was hypnotized. How calm it feels just to look at the wonders of our universe.

As one sits here and watches this absolutely breath-taking project, one has no other choice but to smile ruefully and with great sadness when one thinks about how incredible insignificant and ridiculously small we all truly are. Especially with our perceived slights, inconveniences and overall general lack of compassion for one another that is so prevalent in today's society. In the grand scheme of things, which this video is the absolute embodiment of, our notions of "who is right, who is wrong" and "I am better than others" really are of incalculable unimportance.

Thank you, infinitely many times over, to the creators of this magnificent work. Watching this was truly a humbling experience and it really puts humanity and all of it's "issues" into sharp perspective. Well done!!!

“It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.” - Carl Sagan

Looking back on this!! The best performance I’ve ever been apart of, and I’m a trumpet player but it felt good to sing with a choir again, even if it was virtual. Thank you Eric Whitacre for the amazing opportunity!!

How incredibly blessed are we to even have the consciousness to begin to fathom what we are looking at here? And as ridiculously tiny as we are on this floating rock in space, we have created the technology to view even a sliver of existence in this much detail.
It truly takes me breath away. The human existence might be full of pain but it is also immensely beautiful everywhere you look or imagine.

Watched previous choirs, but being a part of this (and actually seeing myself on screen) was huge.
