I'm with Greg Wittstock and a group of Certified Aquascape Contractors at Pond Camp in the Pennsylvania Poconos. We're building a pond, waterfall, and fountain at a local kids camp. The event was organized by my buddy Tom Smith of Garden State Koi and it sure was fun!

What is important when seeking out someone to do these big projects? I'm in the Poconos in a little town called Saylorsburg and I don't think there's anyone near me?

i hear the wetland filtres are not recommended by koi collectors citing maintence issues ie digging up the gravel and cleaning out the muck, parasites living in the anerobic layer of the bog that could potentially harm the fish.
they prefer the use of bakki shower for ease of maintainence and better water clarity.

what are peoples thought and experience?

i am looking at installing an 30m2 bog, and considering somehow modifying it so that i can insert airlines into the system.
