As a retired heavy equipment operator, I loved rocks my whole life. Always wanted to build a nice waterfall/creek. Now it’s going to happen. I bought 4 dump truck loads of huge quarried boulders off Craigslist for $800, rented a big excavator to load them, and a truck to haul them, and they are on my place waiting to be placed.
I’m on 3 acres and have sloped land so I’m all set. I even bought a mini excavator with 3 buckets.
Now I’m doing my homework, watching videos, and have a local guy lined up for consulting, and perhaps to help. I know nothing about placing fabric or liner and I want to get it right the first time.

Fantastic appeal, natural look with no elevation to start. I’ve recently started “Twisted Waterfalls” in Dallas/Ft. Worth from scratch. My first projects are at my home learning how to do the type of natural systems your creating. I have been certified as a contractor with Atlantic Water Gardens and a dealer with Universalrocks. I made my first two several years ago by purchasing kits and watching videos. They were built as a surprise for my wife while she was out of town. When she came home, WOW, brownie points to spare. It is absolutely beautiful! The only thing I kept thinking about was adding another stream going around between the trees and coming together where it enters the pond! It could get rid of a little more of the stacked look!
