The super contemporary look is MUCH better to my eye than the EV conversion from ICE designs that they are currently using. I drive a Y but if there is something better I would love to have the option.

This is a retro update to the original Neue Klasse design (1962 - 1972) that led to the model 2002 and the 3.0. These are iconic shapes. If they can pull it off these could look epic!

Brought back memories of the introduction of the BMW 2002 in the early '70 in terms of the melding of simplicity and elegance.

I wonder if the forward facing screens can display images and text as well :)

This will NOT what the production model looks like. BMW has never done that. They promise one thing, and then give you another. Usually something disappointing.

I like the look from the front and rear, but can’t get past the side shots. The side view reminds me of a clunky old AMC car from the 1970s. I much prefer the current look to the new. But my opinion doesn’t matter—as I’m quite happy with my Tesla Model Y LR.

Looks interesting, but honestly only Tesla ever seems to produce concepts that look anything like the final product. Everyone else creates obvious show-cars that clearly won't be made as-is.

Published in the U.K. today. “BMW has announced it will debut its Vision Neue Klasse concept next month, September 2023, which will go on to form the basis of its next-generation of all-electric vehicles. The technology has so far only been previewed by a collection of forward-thinking concepts, such as the Vision NEXT 100, Vision Circular and more recently the Vision Dee, but according to a statement made by BMW CEO Oliver Zipse, the concept will be “close to standard production and will be on the roads soon”.
The car shown was the Vision Dee concept. Neue Klass will arrive in the market in 2025, and the first production model based on the new platform will be a compact executive saloon similar in size to the existing 3 Series. Rather than replace that model entirely, though, the new EV will sit alongside it in the BMW line-up. Ie like the new Mini and Aceman. Most certainly for the U.K. a 3 series electric, would be the fleet market money spinner. Also the iX2 is now under final test for next year launch.

I’m a first gen i3 driver. This is the one I’m waiting for. No more silly grills, lack luster tech or garish styling. Just clean simple, excellent to drive austere BMW. Hopefully 🤞🏻.
