The Brooklyn native shared numerous images and videos to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 1, showcasing their adorable date nights and romantic getaways. Joey captioned the first of many posts showing the couple engaging in PDA, "I heard It's national gf day." When Joey Bada$$ shared a photo of himself with Serayah on Instagram in February, it initially gave rise to dating rumors. Then, in March, she made an appearance as his love interest in the music video for "Show Me," where they also kissed. But later that month, in an interview with Complex, the 28-year-old dispelled the rumors. We’re not together, he clarified. “Well, honestly, it wasn’t anything that wasn’t anticipated at first, but when we got back all the assets, like the photos, you know, I started to kind of like, ‘Oh, there’s something that could be done with these. This could tell the story. So that’s kinda what I wanted to do. I knew it was gonna catch people by surprise a little bit. That was the hardest part, was kinda waiting 48 hours, to like, you know I mean? They was wilin. In a subsequent interview with xoNecole, he clarified their friendship and admitted that he was indeed single, despite possibly lying about it at the time to preserve their relationship. Serayah and I’m trying to think, when did we cross paths? he said. We have some mutual friends. I think we found ourselves at a few, like, at the same events. And we just became really cool, you know? We got a pretty cool friendship, and I think she’s gorgeous. I think she’s talented. She was in the studio with me one time and she heard the song, and I know that she really liked the song. He continued: I’m single to clear all the confusion on that up. I don’t know; things could happen. Or have those things happened? Not necessarily. It’s not anybody’s business, but for those who are wondering, yes, I am single. The speculation and everything could die now. Serayah and the Pro Era leader were first seen together in June, when he essentially confirmed their relationship by wishing her a happy birthday on Instagram and posting a highlight video of a recent lavish vacation they took.
