Vitrectomy Surgery for Detached Retina

Vitrectomy is one treatment for a detached retina. The vitreous - the clear liquid in the middle of the eye - is removed and replaced with gas or silicone oil that holds the retina in place against the wall of they eye. The tears or weak areas are then treated by freezing or laser pulses.

I’m 1 month post op, vision is like looking through a key hole, all peripheral vision is obstructed. Doc thinks I may have bled behind retina. Not sure what next step is

Can your lens accidentally fall out or get out of place or out of focus because mine is focused all the way up to my glasses, but nothing else is
