Domain Name System DNS

At video beginning you say when you want to visit a website, either type IP address or visit url. How about this scenario:suppose on one VPS server, is hosted two different sites. e.g. cnn.com and facebook.com They are registered on same registrar. Here is the question. If we ping : ping cnn.com or ping facebook.com we are returned same IP address. In this scenario, I guess we have a problem if we want to visit each site by typing IP address on url bar of browser. What about that? Thank you!
