I just got mine and based on GPS readings on cell phone vs. display reporting, my speed is reported about 10% higher. I will check about the tire size as well. But I suspect it is set to 20". Thank you for adding some settings I did not see in the user's manual.

Thanks Chris, After reading about your 48mi range with your 20ah battery, I'm making plans to add a 2nd battery on the rack to help out my lil 11.2ah version. But, Hey, I only gave $849 total... The 20ah battery was $700 more.

Hello again.
Last year i followed yoyr instructions with great results.
For some reason now, im sure unrelated, my bike is showing me a max speed of about 6.5 mph. Any ideas on why?

I haven’t changed anything except
To register in kph (Canada eh) and give more power to all three pedal assist levels . I think they didn’t restrict top end on my version as I can get over 50 kph easily but thanks for showing all the settings menus I’ll check mine soon and see if I can squeeze
some more watts out of this thing 😊

This is how to change from PAS 0-3 to PAS 0-5 and PAS 0-9, Also how to customize pwr in each PAS level, which Chris mentioned. I did PAS 0-5 : 1-20%, 2-35%, 3-50%, 4-75%, 5-100%... Although PAS-5 at 100% is not as fast as full throttle...

I've seen a few videos on this and looks like most have determined 22" for the tire diameter makes for more accurate reading on mileage. True or False?

OK I really need anyone's help here. I just got my t42 last friday aug 11th. And I already wrote to Gforce twice about this and they have yet to send me an intelligent reply. On the newest models, Gforce has decided to force a new feature on the T42. When you keep the throttle down for more than 8 seconds straight, the throttle remains on full power (cruise) even though you have released the handle. They have confirmed that to me yesterday. And that is a default setting now. You don't even need to activate it, it is setup by default and its annoying when you need to slow down, because it does not. In short, the cruise gets on automatically and to turn if off, you need to press the throttle again or use the brakes. I asked them, well great ! now how do you turn it off ? Because, you know its dangerous. And that was their official reply. «Just press the throttle again or use the brakes» hell yeah ! Now I told them we need to turn this off, it doesnt make sense that you can't turn it off, and i am still waiting for a reply from them. I looked in the whole settings and i can't find anything related to the throttle/auto cruise and yes i have the YL80C manual. Anyone who can help me with this would be most welcome !

When I pedal on max pas, my bike barely does 22 mph. And I've noticed as it hits the third battery bar my bike maxes out at 22mph
