This man is 100% right I’ve been telling people to do this from the beginning and if you change your dead zone to reflect what you want it to do, like let’s say you turn your response curve all the way down but get stick drift, turn your dead zone up a little more and it will be smooth and crispy. At that point it’s just a matter of getting your thumb and muscle memory used to not needing to pull your stick to the bottom rim

Best console setting help for aim I’ve seen in the history of Apex. Absolutely extends your effective range. It does feel bad up close though but that’s what hip fire is for

As a long time player, I recommend you have your response curve set to atleast 1 or higher. It's more consistent the higher you set it and you won't have as much stick drift if that's an issue. I played at 0 or 1 for years and went to 5 for better beams, even if it messes up my tracking occasionally.
