Ill never forget the time i was pitching, maybe 11-12 years old. I threw a 4 seamer slightly up in the zone. The batter hits a line drive right at my face. Luckily, the only thing that happened was a foot injury. How you may ask? Well its because i never got hit with the ball. I ducked in perfect time and twisted my ankle due to turning and ducking really fast.

A sign of when this occurred. A concussion is an extremely serious injury. But remember when Damian Jackson was knocked out in a collision with Johnny Damon and stayed in the game?

Baseball's understanding of concussion risks has come a long way.
