The HUM is caused by the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply starting to go bad.  It would be good to replace them assoon as possible, It might need the hum balance control adjusted, if it has one!!

Great vid. Do yourself a favor and don't sell that setup! Esp with the heritage, your dad has with them. They can always be repaired and will last many more years.
