I envy that about your practice. I do criminal and family law and everyone lies.

Hi Jim, my wife and I were married last September but we haven’t yet filed for anything yet. How risky is it to try and visit her on the VWP for 2-3 weeks?
In particular, I’d like to visit her because she is graduating.

I agree but not in all the circumstances. You says that’s true what you says it’s in client and attorney Privilege, but this privilege doesn’t allow the lawyer to lie for their client in court.
For example if you killed someone, and there’s no enough evidence to prove you did, if you really did it, your lawyer still can make no guilty defense, that you didn’t do it . But if you confessed to your lawyer, then your lawyer have no choice to make that defense anymore … and you are just digger yourself more years in jail than walk out free completely…

If you have something only you know and no way anyone can prove it, you probably better off just lie to your lawyer, so he can make better defense for you .

True this. Look at OJ Simpson, back in the 90s he told his lawyer the truth and it paid off when he was rightfully found innocent
