Good thing we locked everyone away from each other for over a year.

I'd rather be isolated than surrounded by the toxic people I used to deal with. Contact zero. Never been happier😊

I’ve never been more alone in my life, but not lonely. Better to be alone than with toxic people. Happier than ever 😊❤

Thanks for always giving me something to obsessively worry about while alone

Everything makes sense to me now. Looking back, when i was spending more time with friends, i wasn't paranoid at all, but when i didn't spend much time with them, I was more scared of the dark.

I'm a truck driver for a year now and I'm damn near to the point of quitting because of the social isolation

I can definitely vouch for that. I am so grateful I got myself a new job, so, no more isolation. Yay.

but it's really not in my hands..
I can't just go out and socialize as I used to when I was younger..
I was suddenly hit with so many mental health problems that I stopped being able to do anything at all rather than sit alone in my room praying to god that things get better or that I get to find the right therapist or psychiatrist or whatever.
and it's getting really hard with all the stupidity and superficiality of my disgusting society... I'm all alone dealing with the worst that a human being can deal with..all alone with only the internet and my mind and knowledge even tho I'm not healthy enough
and I'm just 17!
but Allah is with me and he'll SWT help me when no one else would...thank you god for everything.
I hope things get better for me and for everyone suffering with their mental health
Amen

My mental health become at its worst when I started to isolate from people, I understand some people are introverted but spend time with the people you love, it'll do you the world of good.

Due to some childhood trauma, I ended up socially isolated for years. I never had any fear or paranoia but I definitely had irritability and depression.

Dogs are therapeutic! Proven.
Pet a dog (or kitten for that matter) and feel BETTER.

I heard this ojibwe saying growing up
“Watch what you think when you are alone, and watch what you say when your with others”

Seems relevant here.

I don't choose to be isolated. Now, after 17 years of trauma, I dwell in chaos and am losing my drive to move forward. PTSD and poverty has made me a pariah. But who would know? I am so cheerful around people. I am losing that now with every threat and insult.
