How-To: Laying Out an Ellipse Arch! (The Easiest Method - NO Math Needed)

Have you ever seen an ellipse archway? They look great, right?! Have you ever wondered how to make one of those arches yourself? Most people struggle, as it's an art that isn't taught often. In this video, I run you through start to finish on how to build an ellipse arch!

Hardly any math involved, all you need is a tape measure, pencil, square and a string line.. Let's make it happen!

Totally not even what I'm going to be doing but that is just so cool. I was just looking for how to install long plywood boards on a curve van roof without it falling off. So I won't be working with one big piece whatsoever but that was just really cool to see. In fact I don't even know exactly what I just watched all I know is that the math worked. Bravo.
