The Heifetz Holiday Homecoming 2022!

Happy Holidays from the Heifetz Institute! We are thrilled to share with you our year-end "Heifetz Holiday Homecoming," recorded live at Mary Baldwin University's Francis Auditorium in Staunton, VA, the home base for Heifetz.

The final concert of the 2022 Heifetz Holiday Tour features four young artist alumni participating in the new Heifetz Ensemble in Residence (HEIR) program: Minchae Kim, SoHyun Ko violins; Jerome McCoy, viola, and Dilshod Narzillaev, cello, joined by faculty pianist Allison Freeman.

Finally the time has come for Paganini 24 by SoHyun Ko, and I am not disappointed, it was phenomenal performance by the young and beautiful virtuoso. 😍 But the whole concert is amazing, nice selection of pieces, thank you Heifetz!

This concert is full of great performances. In particular, Sohyeon's Caprice 24 and Piazzolla Etude are my favorites. She plays Paganini so easy all the time. Superb!!
