I wonder if the cue card writers looked at each other and went "Yeah, he doesn't need us. Just roll the camera."
What a legend he was and how I miss his comedy so much

I met him backstage at the tower theatre in 2009. He was so kind and gentle. Really a nice person and I took losing him as a personal loss. I laughed for his entire show. Plus he signed three of my dvds; including a sealed anniversary edition of Aladdin and Popeye for my brother. I wish he was still here making us laugh. He deserved a good life and the disease he had was taking it away from him where he couldn’t use his mind right anymore. Really aad. Miss him but I really hope he is in a better place now.

That’s called a performance. To be able to walk on stage cold with that energy was amazing!

We'll all be leaving RIP Robin Williams messages, but it's so good that videos like these remind us of what he did while alive - he made the world a happier place.

What made Robin the best comedian of all time was his observation, intelligence, energy and excellent grasp of how to engage with an audience.

In the 3-4 times robin Williams hosted snl i wish the opening monologue went on for 20-25 minutes he was that funny he had plenty of material in his heart and his head and had me and the live audience in stitches and on the floor laughing so hard crying!!!

The horror when you realize that a brilliant Robin Williams monologue may have just singlehandedly upstaged your entire show.

I got barely any of his references, but I’m just glad that I can watch him deliver them.

Robin was great, and here he is at his peak. It's amazing how fast he flows, yet every word has a meaning and builds to the joke. RIP

No matter what stage he was on. Tv movies or even as a mime in central park Robin Williams is the only comedian who can and always make me laugh in 0-30 seconds

Its like he had Tourette's just with no ticks. His mind was amazingly fast. He was the best comedian of his time. His political routines were the best !!! We could really use him right now. Robin and Betty are having a drink together now.
