I wouldn't take anything that this guy says with face value. He is more of a pop enterntainment guy rather than a movie guy.

The problem I see with this reboot is it looks very cheap but if we follow the comics it's the most accurate atmosphere I've seen. Most Hellboy comic are a noir detective take on the supernatural unlike Del Toro's grandiose Marvel esque take. I'll hold my judgement till I see the movie.
