TRANSCRIPT:
- We came to The Joshua Fund kind of a different way than a lotta board members. I was involved with supporting The Joshua Fund in an accounting, payroll-type organization. They were a client, and that's how I got to know them. I got to know some of the guys that work in the organization. Ultimately, I finished there and was asked to come on the board. So I kinda came in knowing The Joshua Fund a little bit differently, and back to the people. Rich Chaffin, one of our board members, said to us when we were going to Israel for the first time, he said, "You'll love being there, but it's all about the people. You will not forget the people that you met." So for us, it's been connecting that, and as we pray daily, and we do for The Joshua Fund.
- It is the people, and I have had such wonderful experiences with women there, and they're just like us. They love their children. They're concerned about their children. They wanna brag about their children and what they're doing and how they can move forward. The importance of trust and what they were doing with VBS in their small community. And so it's just amazing because you forget that they're just like you. They may have a different name or live somewhere else, but they're just like us, and they love the Lord just like we do.
