This is singlehandedly the best version of Freebird. Look at Billy on that 9ft Steinway concert The whole band is playing at their absolute finest! The British were lightyears ahead at engineering and recording for a Television broadcast in 1975! This is a pure frozen time capsule!!!!

It's hard to believe that on November 11th, 2023, this show will actually be forty-eight years since this concert was shown and recorded by the BBC in London.
It's still so fresh you'd think it had been recorded yesterday. It's so sad that since Gary Rossington's passing, only Artimus Pyle is still alive but I'm sure that those who have now left us continue to put shows on up in Heaven. They may be gone, but they and their music will live on forever in our hearts. God bless them all.
