With the Blow Pipe you should blow thru the large hole as it gives you a.more concentrated air pressure at the fire. Ths stove performs the necessary functions as you so aptly demonstrated Dan and yes you're correct in saying if your camping the last thing you need to be is in a hurry. Great review mate as always thanks. Bushyboy Oz.

another good honest review thanks dan, the stove will burn longer if you light the fire from the top and the wood is packed in a nice stove cheers mate

Nice video. I have stove just like this. To get longer burn I mostly top load the stove. I can get through a meal with little additional loading of sticks. I Like my pocket bellows to reignite a smoking fire. Blow from large opening. Thanks mate!

The Pocket Bellows is very handy kit. I use it when I’m starting a fire in my big stove in my hot tent. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe.

Narrow end into the fire, as when you blow from the wider end, as the air travels down it will compress and come out the narrow end with more force.

Excellent job as always my friend! As for the stove, it seems okay- but I think it's a little too tall for comfort. Stability might be an issue. Plus, with a shorter stove, your water would boil quicker.

Wide end in your mouth, then the narrow end constricts the air, so it comes out under more pressure. It’s really effective for invigorating a fire that’s struggling to get going. The American Indians used to use hollowed out Elder tree branches to do the same thing.

I fancy gettin one of these wood burning stoves, and have watched loads of vids on em.. the consensus seems to be to get the best out of these sorts of stoves you need to pack the wood in and lite from the top.. sort of like a swedish candle stove.. typically I've noticed a fifteen minute burn time on most of em as well.. enough to boil water on one load of twigs.. if your cooking then thats when the feeding comes into I fancy a simple folding stove though, titanium to keep the wieght down...

15 minutes to boil a liter of water isn't bad. Great review . Happy birthday!

Not bad for the price, happy birthday by the way.
I use a TBS Salamanda which I love, boils 750ml in under 3mins.
Which looks simular to yours and is so efficient the Ash is like talcum powder afterwards
No fancy pots or bits just the stove and pot which fits inside a mesh bag as well.

Happy birthday . I use a pocket bellows and blow through the larger end as the air pressure increases as it reaches the narrow end
