"Imprisoned" falls short when describing an agonizing eternity where poison drops on your eye periodically and the only thing stopping it is your faithful wife

Loki is one of my favorite Norse gods. He was the mother of Sleipnir, Odins horse. It’s a wonderful story

Bet they killed them to avenge their parent Loki and as personal revenge.

Another addition to the irony is that Odin imprisoned Loki using the intestines of two of Loki's sons as chains

It kind of feels like more of the gods creating a self fulfilling prophecy by basically creating more reasons for Loki’s children to hate them. Even taking out the Baldur story, they were already being imprisoned by them not to mention their younger siblings were brutally murdered for their fathers actions.

"Being a god, it can be a lifetime of anguish and tragedy. That is the curse."

The Norse myth reminds me of those alien space movies where the scientists don’t want to kill but to capture and study the creatures and also don’t kill other humans but imprison them and then everyone dies at the end because they took to long to solve the problem until it was to late

You know... maybe if certain gods encouraged Loki to become a good Dada instead of imprisoning him for the rest of his days, they wouldn't have the big snek and angry wolf problem. Although Tyr still probably would have lost his hand... poor Tyr

Imagine if, for example, Oden accidentally killed Fenrir and everyone else is like:
"Oden what the hell! This wasn't in the script!"
"I know. I'm sorry. It's just that we had eons to prepare for this, so I thought I'd decide devise a way to at least survive."

I mean... Odin tried to avoid Ragnarok by chaining, abandoning in dead realms and tossing in the ocean Loki's children.
The dude only sealed his fate by doing so.

Well THAT would have been a VERY interesting movie in the MCU.

It wouldn't surprise me if Loki escaped captivity using an illusion of sorts, and he's just dinking around without anybody knowing about it

He literally helped start Ragnarok. But he saved Freya and helped a lot of people. He isn't a villain. He is just misunderstood
