Man...I never know stepping into ant hills can cause all of this.

My sister accidentally stepped on a duwende and her leg got swollen. Like 3x bigger than the leg she didn't step on it with. She said it was a girl that was naked and had long curly brown hair. They had to apologize and put fruit on the hill. My uncle saw one when he was younger and he said his grandma told him he didn't have any pupils. His eyes were just white. They had to put fruit and say sorry to the mound.

now I have another reason not to step on ant hills..my first reason is because I don't want to get bitten by a buttload of angry ants, another is, ants worked so hard, why would I destroy their home's entrance?!

" My aunt's niece "
Doesn't that make the speaker the one with whom the incident happened? 🤔

I'm Mexican and Duendes are common folklore there too. I always thought of them as gnomes I guess. I never believed people who told me they saw them but my boyfriend swears he saw them and he has no reason to lie to me. my uncle also says he saw some when he was drunk😅

Ohhh! We have those in Mexican folklore too! My aunt has some pretty crazy stories about them, we call them "duendes".

"Right outside the school is full of anthills."

The people who built that school were not very bright, were they?
