Comcast's 'Embarrasing' Customer Service Phone Call

Показать описание
A Comcast customer service representative refuses a customer's plea to stop internet service. The employees lack of respect seems to be indicative of the company's culture: it is not about the customer, it is about what Comcast wants. Comcast has also been in the news for its anti-union sentiment, lobbying, outrageous CEO pay and support for SOPA and PIPA, two bills that would allow Comcast to unfairly influence end-user connection speeds.

What do you think?

Is Comcast the worst communications company in the United States?

This is the worst form of customer service. Like, this is disgusting.

I gave an old modem to a friend. He registered it with Comcast. Comcast then charged me for the usage. I called them on 4 occassions to have the modem removed from my account and we both made a trip to the store and they still screwed it up. Comcast is horrible! Too bad there are no other cable providers in my area.

My late wife would’ve said “Look M.F’er! Cancel my Comcast.

The representative to me sounds like he has an attitude. This is not a good representation of any company. They need to reform their customer service. I will stay clear of Comcast.

I hate them because they keep raising the price. Lately the signal has been jumpy too.
I am quitting as soon as my "contract" runs out.

It's none of his damn business why they want to cancel.  What happened to the customer is always right.

My upper limit of what I can take from a "representative" like that is about two minutes. After that, I start baiting the representative just to see how long I can keep him on the line, knowing that it's cutting into his quotas and putting his call time well into the "unacceptable" limit.

I know:  Little.Vindictive.Moi.

This conversation is painful. It reminds me of religious conversations.

This customer is fantastic... he has insane patience.. at the 4 min mark the rep would have been begging me to disconnect my service.

How about saying, "Disconnect me, or I'll just stop paying the bill and switch anyways"? Wonder if that would work.

I know how what would shut him up...tell him I want Internet and TV package for no more than $20 a month, and say I refuse to pay a cent more than that.

Customers are not required to give you a reason to cancel.

"look it isn't you, it's me"

Did this rep really believe that by insisting over and over and being so rude that this, in turn, would make this guy want to stay with them? And change his mind?

Plot twist, he lied and never disconnected the service! They often do this as well!

Damn! I mean that was so forceful and arrogant... I'm out of words here. He sounded so angry and pissed. He was doing it all wrong. That's not a way to deal with Customer.
