I'm a animator my self and i usually use all 3 solutions for my animations.. usually easing styles and the "M" one for my idles and movement is usually liner. I rarely I put some easing's though but yea, great example with the backflip!!

I respect roblox animatiors SO much. Ive been doing animation for over 5 years, but only in 2D, and its already hard enough. 3D is beyond complex, and takes a ton of time to learn. Major respect to Roblox animators out there!

Tip if you're making linear animation: toggling onion skin (B) will make it wayy easier to make it smoother

to any new animators, dont rely on easings, i my self barely use them, and for linear, you dont have to make it frame after frame, they can be spread as far as they need to be, i do use M tho that ones good (mid methods still tho)

I'll put this here since this is a good piece of advice; watch people animate, see how they do it. Maybe even copy their animations frame by frame to get a gist of how they do it, in the name of practice. You will not learn everything on your own, or might not for a long time.

Watching professionals do it will help you learn how to do it too.
