Anybody who was a passenger in that car at some point deserves a medal of valor

20 years ago, I worked as a valet runner. I used to get cars as dirty as this and I always asked myself: "If this is their car, I wonder what their home looks like"...

The driver's door restoration was amazing. It was so stained and blackened, you actually make it have a blue hue to it again, under all that yellow black tar. Incredible.

Man, the work you do is nothing short of a miracle. Still can't help feeling sorry for the poor bastard that buys this used car.

It doesn't matter how many of these i see, or how many trashed homes I go into on the job, I'm always shocked at the level of filth some people create, tolerate and willingly live in. Nice work.

Under all the dirt and grime this car was in not too bad shape. No big dents, scratches or torn fabric. It all cleaned up very nicely. Well done sir!

I have extreme OCD for cleanliness and organization, and it brings me so much enjoyment and relaxation watching your videos. Keep up the good work and thank you!!

I've been a mobile auto detailer for over 40 years and countless cars. I'm a subscriber who's never left a comment because why would I? But, this time is different. I cleaned a 2022 4-D Wrangler last year that was awful, at least I thought so, but not like this. I only agreed to clean it because that client has 2 other cars I maintain and it was his daughter's. His other cars are pristine (thanks to me), but they were like nearly new when I signed on (Stingray & BMW). I have no clue what she does to trash this truck. Even the side carpeting in the back was falling off.

I had to bring it to my home (very unusual) and the first day was 8 hours, and about 10 the second. I'd say about 22 hours in total. Thankfully for them, I charge by the job, not by the hour. I suffered from that decision, but oh well. I'm not saying you're better than me (I was a detailer before it was a thing), but you sure are faster. I could not have done that job in 15 hours. You'll probably never hear from me again, why would you? It wasn't the job you did, I would expect no less. It was the time in which you did it. Well done.

One of my first clients had a 1986 flame red Excalibur (not a copy; it was the real one). I was his driver at the time, until I ended up maintaining his vast auto collection. He didn't want to get gas for it, because people always stared at it incessantly, so I did it. I actually enjoyed the stares, I was only 27 after all and had worked for him 10 years already. He ended up somehow installing a gas pump on his property. Yes it required permits, but he got them (he wasn't poor).

He knew how much I loved that car over all others that he had and I'm not dropping names. He would trade in his new cars after a few thousand miles, but there were some, like the Excalibur and a '55 Corvette and others he liked that apparently he kept forever, but I wouldn't know, I moved many times since. Back in 2002, I got a call from an attorney and found out my long ago employer had died. He then told me that I was the new owner of that Excalibur that I loved so much. I cleaned it hundreds of times before I was 30, and then 30 some years later I get to clean it again, because it's mine and it's still pristine, as though it were on display, which actually it is. People go nuts when they see it, just like they used to.

I’ve got a housekeeper with my own business for 45 years and I also detailed cars but I got to tell you you’re the best detailer that I’ve ever come across. Amazing!

That center console before and after is actually insane. I was doubtful on those carpets too, but man this one was just so good to see get fixed up

Wow, I can't believe you cleaned this! It's astonishing how folks aren't embarrassed to have a car this filthy. A car is a mobile look into a person's permanent home.

I bought my laptop from a chain-smoker-dog household.
The mainbord and fans inside looked exactly as gross as the cupholders - nice sticky mix of tar and hair 🤢

Gladly it turned out well and I got a 1500$ laptop for 250$. Just took ~5h of cleaning :)

I loved your project here. Cleaning up dirty things is so satisfying!

The thing that convinced me to never smoke ever was once when I was a child I was tasked with cleaning the inside of the car's windshield. My father was a heavy smoker and this was back in the days of drive-in theaters.

As a retired mechanic I remember buying a car years ago and it was like a dump inside, maybe that's why I got it so cheap. I took all the seats and carpets out and steam cleaned it all outside, dried it out at work. Looked lovely when put back together

You’ve just earned yourself more business from this dealership! This went from a $500 vehicle to a $5k vehicle easily. Not sure how someone could sit in that or let it get that bad. Filthy
