Thanks for the tip, I was looking for a budget oriented solution and you nailed that one again, it’s in my Amazon basket. I agree with you about the light sanding of the cast iron 400 and 600 would never damage it, always nice to see your videos Doug 😊

I didn't know Johnsons had discontinued their paste wax. That's what I've been using. I may try the ceramic coating when I run out of paste wax. Thanks for all the info.

Definitely going to try it. Although I'm getting used to seeing it with a light coat of rust over it. Tried the Johnson paste wax but it needed doing to often. 🤩🤩🤩 Alf

Hi Doug, Wow that ceramic whatchamacallit stuff looks great on your saw tops, I wonder if it also works on cars too? LOL I've got to try me some of that stuff, but don't worry, I won't waste any of it on my car... it's already too late for it... LOL...

Great stuff. Didn't know that Johnson's is no longer available. The can I am using is ancient (label barely readable) but still works for tons of stuff around the shop outside of the cast iron tops. Have you ever used Minwax paste wax? The reviews for it are good and paste wax is still more suitable for wood on wood runners and jigs, etc. IMHO.
