Spalted Beech table....

Newly finished Table , the main body is of Bookmatched Spalted Beech with a Walnut surround and a metal edging , 7ft 6inches long X 32.5 inches wide .. the base/legs are from old water or probably gas pipe that I repurposed and welded flanges on to connect both together with a 4inch pipe ..they are substantial (heavy) and give the table a very planted and secure base ..table can seat 8 ...full slideshow of the making of the table will follow shortly .
