fact is any roofing maker can and will stop making your chosen material, so you always should buy extra pieces especially if you have bad winds or big tree limbs that break, and store them in similar light (fading) We had about 20 of the 2 types and should have kept more. Since Monier went bankrupt.

Why don't any of the larger well known sythetic brands make a composit S clay tile look. The company you recommend is kind of newer.

I called the company today. I was forwarded to a district rep to find out that he would transfer me to another regional warehouse. If it's this hard to purchase tiles, buy somewhere else. If it feels bad, then stay away.

Never Have to Replace, I doubt that. I am considering these for a project and think they are probably great, but they can't be perfect. My guess is that they will need to be replaced after 20 to 30 years.

Are you saying that these tiles do not get algea?
I live in a house that's almost 100 yrs old with Spanish Tile Roof & can't imagine putting fake tiles on it.

What is the weight per square? I'm considering stone-coated metal or composite that mimics roof tiles, and don't want to upgrade my trusses for buildings that currently have shingle.

Also concerned about r-value over concrete tiles.

It is what makes modern Spanish colonial homes look like garbage. Get the real thing even if that means driving a trailer across the border.
