If you've been to Lockhart, then you might have heard of Barbs B Q, a restaurant blending Texas barbecue with traditional Mexican flavors.

They got written up in the Times literally 2 weeks after being open, so maybe they know someone on staff? I hope to try this place soon because I really want it to stand on its own merit and not the 'progressives showing backwards Texans how BBQ is done" angle that the NYT took on their write-up.
