I have 3 bikes, a suzuki burgman 400, CBR1100XX and the Versys. I joined an Ironman event 1200KM in 24hrs using the Versys. Im happy to say that I did not feel soreness or exhaustion riding the Versys as compared to the other bikes in shorter distances. Very happy with the Versys! :)

I really like my Versys. My dad has a V-Strom which is also a nice bike. The V-Strom has noticeably more wind protection and a smoother engine. The Versys feels lighter & smaller and the engine feels more playful. If you are looking to do long distance trips I would lean towards the V-Strom. If you are looking for a canyon carver and even an occasional track day bike get the Versys.

Using gripp puppies will help eliminate the vibration on versys. The vsrom is better for long distance. Both bikes have a great reliability and price.

Wish they did the 270° crank on it.. I sold my ER6F (ninja 650r) because of the vibes that were getting worse as the miles piled on. It got to the point where I could ride the bike for 45 minutes tops before wanting to get of it. Also, the fairing buzz was driving me nuts. I've ridden the NC700X too, it's a superior bike in every way IMHO other then power.

Some improvements made in 2014 to cut vibration Totally changed look for 2015 .
