Thank you Emma I had to catch the replay but that's ok. Pretty colors in that palette. I love their paints. Melange don't love the paints in the palette with the brush pen and pencil in it. The paint is not in a regular pan it's in steal small pans??? The paints are really shiny and not pigmentive and they don't stay wet, . Well have a good Sunday 😉. JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸.

Great video. Getting pans out of pallette can be a struggle. I needed tweezers and a butter knife to get some out

Oh, I am bummed I missed this— I just started water coloring 2 months ago and was just doing one of your flower tutorials with my neighbor. Really like your channel— great job. Edit: hello from northern Wisconsin.

Hi Emma, I was wondering if you ever paint on black watercolor paper?

I love your “live” and your landscape is brilliant! Can I just say…none of what you’re saying about portraiture seems helpful to those who want to paint people…
Please let me address this with those who are interested. I taught art at the college level for many years…portraits are about line, shape, value, and color…just like landscapes. In fact, the figure is often described as just that….a landscape. If you are interested in drawing or painting people…Dylan Sara has a great tutorial/blog here on youtube, with Shannon Hagen…called “Drawn Together with Dylan and Shannon” and he brings in artists around the world to talk about their work as they draw. Also, Kara Bullock has a year long program called “Let’s Face It”, which encourages all kinds of media, ie, mixed media, watercolor-acrylic-oil, drawing, painting, charcoal. It’s not free, but for what you get over the year, it is cheap. If you like charcoal…Robert Kelly has some inspiring tutorials…and charcoal is cheap…so no big investment.
And thank you to Emma Jane….for sharing your process! Watercolor is my favorite medium and I love seeing how others work.

Steve Mitchell- Mind of Watercolour does Watercolour portraits. Don't know if he has tutorials as it is not my thing either.
