54 years old here. I recall as a kid in the late 70s my folks talking about rationed gas and high prices. They bought a house in the early 70s at 15% interest. We were low middle class, maybe on the upper end of low. Went camping every summer weekend, never was hungry, always had warm house and groceries. My brother and I grew up fulfilled. In the 1980s we saw continued inflation, cold war effects, life moved on. Happy and healthy middle-class family. Took summer vacations, traveled to special events, etc. Had reliable vehicles, etc. Lots of presents under the Christmas tree each year, etc.

I won't bother you with this much detail for the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and now the 2020s. But my point I am and all of the so-called collapses have come and gone and truly, my middle-class life has not changed one bit. Please don't live your life worrying about some collapse that may or may not come and if it does come, you can't do anything to stop it. Sure, have some money set aside and know how to take care of yourself and family, but don't get caught up in the "fear" industry that literally makes billions off of fear mongering around collapses and the retirement scam industry.

If you know the one truth of Jesus Christ, then you know all of this worldly stuff is not reality anyway.

I lived as a child through a complete economic collapse of the USSR and can tell you no one cared about silver. The most universal currency of exchange was light drugs like spirits and cigarettes followed by the other items you mentioned… Gold was only considered high value only for dental purposes. Sorry, I would not accept silver but I shall take petrol and ammunitions…

I live at the end of the line in the Wyoming mountains.
Moved here a long time ago because I love this place.
Now, I can close the gate and live well for maybe two years.
If someone comes wanting to trade I won't be interested in silver, or gold.
I don't even know how to determine if it's real. And, I can't eat it.
I've put back several cases of whiskey, in pints. I don't drink. It's for trade.

We're living a collapse right now. Have been for a decade. Continual downward class migration. Eventually there will be no middle class

Advancements in technology also increase the cost of living. The average family or person in our grandparents and Parents generation didnt have cell phone, internet, laptop, anti-ware virus, 50 different subscriptions to stuff that have been forced down our throat in the name of convenience. Today, the household bill has doubled.

Grew upp poor single mom 3 kids she made no more then about. 30k/yr . That poverty has helped keep my standard of living down despite my high income. Always paranoid about falling back into poverty so i invest almost 80% of my income. I wonder if in the end will it work out or will life throw a curve ball 🤔

That Sylvia got is from the Perth mint. I am a member of that store. It is just down the road from where I live in Perth. I buy my silver and my gold from there on a weekly to monthly basis. Whenever I have spare cash I will buy the gold whenever I don't have enough money. I buy the silver when things go and flip. I know Silva will be outweighing the gold and will be more of a hedge against things of that nature. I don't think this will be happening anytime soon but I would rather be prepared than not. And yes, I have many of those year of the dragon tokenized silver coins and other ones of the nature
