Tropical Storm Debby wreaks havoc on South Carolina, slowly moves inland

Impacts from Debby will continue in the Lowcountry for a little bit longer, as of Wednesday evening.

The 5 p.m. update from the National Hurricane Center showed Tropical Storm Debby was about 50 miles east southeast of Charleston. It will move onshore around midnight or soon after. north of Charleston, likely between the Isle of Palms and Georgetown.
