Milwaukee police recruiting new officers

Milwaukee police are having a hard time attracting new recruits but they're launching new outreach to fill positions. Including a special event today at the safety academy.

Police departments across America used to have a height requirement, which I think was 5'8" or 5'10" years ago, but that is gone.

I went on a ride along in a different county, years ago and was paired with a young deputy. She was 4'10"

When we went on various calls in different neighborhoods, I heard some of the kids say- That tall guy, is her boss, in an undercover uniform.
