SDU Tools 26 Extract T-SQL Query Template for SQL Server

SDU Tools are a free set of T-SQL tools (Registration is required) to help developers and database administrators (DBAs) working with SQL Server.
This video shows how to use the function ExtractQueryTemplate. This function is used to find the template (or skeleton or shape) of a T-SQL query, by removing the parameters. It is used to normalize queries while performing query tuning. It has particular additional capabilities for working with sp_executesql based queries.
