Tebe Poem by Bortniansky (sung by Walton Voices)

This is a piece written in Church Slavonic by the Ukrainian composer, Dimitri Bortniansky (1751-1825).

English Translation:
We sing to you, We praise you, We thank you O Lord.
We pray to you, our God

This performance was on 26th March 2022, over a month after Russia invaded Ukraine and the same week that we found out there was practically nothing left of Mariupol. This was Walton Voices act of respect, solidarity and mourning for all those caught up in the conflict and those that have lost their lives.
