Thanks for sharing. I am on my 5th book. We started a family values company in the pandemic with a book I wrote in middle school about a cat stealing the neighbors stuff, true. It is awesome to see that people in this YouTube community are passionate about writing, and the content. Your story is awesome, so happy for you guys!

We have noticed exactly what your talking about. You can have wonderful pictures, good stories, but you need sales to make more books. We haven't collected and retained anything in 2 years. We roll it over to more books and marketing.

We have started book stores authors signing, email lists, pod casts, social media, etc.
The last thing we see is build your brand by sharing other authors books and having them as guests.

That's something all the children's book authors should build a network of to teach this new generation well.

We can identify with your heart, love writing and making content...but have to make it a real business to enjoy more of it! Well done

I’m about to self-publish a series of children’s books. I am the author and the illustrator, and since I am also a musician the audio book will have musical background (of course). I am working on a song to sing to kids on the book presentations with my fellow musicians. I love the whole process and the world I am in while I work on those stories. Thank you for this inspiring video, your down-to-earth approach to the business side of the process is fantastic and very useful. I’d love the books to sell to keep the door to writing as a profession open for me.
